12:34 am	Serendipity rules! Man Ray Stevens had its first remote show at the Eugene Hilton this evening, and man, did it rawk! We had a great combination of solid improvising, funny stuff, and and a responsive, appreciative audience --- pretty good for being offered the gig in a synchronistic moment with only about four days' notice. 10:06 pm	The Man Ray Stevens immediate phone tree was hot this evening! We have a workshop tomorrow evening for which we are fired up, and good things will come of it. victoriouslimp has designed a poster for our December 17 show, and it looks great. We will post it online as soon as we get that version. Many thanks, povos! The poster is already up at Churchill High School and will be appearing around Eugene starting tomorrow. 8:19 am	Debut post Hello, everybody! Man Ray Stevens is an unpredictable (in a good way) improv comedy troupe --- where high concept collides with low brow --- made up of Joseph Perry, Adam Leonard, and Jose Chavez. Individual bios and more information will follow soon! Man Ray Stevens is hitting the internet hard in an effort to let everyone know about who we are and what we are up to. Our official MySpace Music site (yes, a comedy troupe with a music site --- we are not the first, but are pleased to be the latest!) is at http://www.myspace.com/manraystevens; we also have a Friendster page and a Greatest Journal page. If you have any of these accounts, please add us and feel free to ask your friends to add us, and for them to add their friends, and so forth! We appreciate any and all grassroots efforts to help us promote our shows. Also, if you attended the first MRS show or have seen us perform in ComedySportz, Open Doors, DrunkProv, or other improv projects, and would like to leave comments on MySpace, GJ, or LJ, please do so . . . word of mouth helps!
